Berbere Baxter Rug
The Berbère rug features a complex handcrafting technique inspired by traditional Berber rugs from the early 20th century. The yarn is spun by hand, then woven by hand using a knotting technique on a vertical loom. The rug surface is trimmed by hand to create characteristic irregularities. The patterns and fringe are finished by hand. Black and white versions use undyed wool, while other versions use wool dyed with natural pigments.
