Silver-coated glass is designed for table settings with silver objects. GOCCIA pieces are widely used to serve fruit, vegetables, sweets, biscuits, nuts and other foods.

GOCCIA glassware can be used to serve dishes with temperatures up to +30 C.

The production technology follows several stages.

The process begins with ready-made plain or shaped glass, including drops and stripes. Technologists at the company develop the enamel composition and colour shade, which remain strictly confidential.

The glass pieces are then placed in a metal drum containing 999 fineness silver ingots. The drum is sealed, and a full vacuum deposits silver ions onto the surface of each glass piece. After the period specified by the production technology, the glass is removed and covered with a finishing lacquer. The lacquer gives the glass a smooth, pleasant-to-touch surface and a glossy finish.

GOCCIA glassware features vacuum-deposited silver and is not coated with silver paint.
