The DC bed was designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis. The bed features clear lines that create a sense of order and harmony. Traditional Japanese futons provided the inspiration, reinterpreted for contemporary interiors. The headboard and large solid wood bed frame are covered with resilient polyurethane foam in different densities. The headboard and frame are then covered with polyester fibre and upholstered in leather or natural leather. The bed base with beech slats is larger than the futon, creating a light, floating effect. Polished brass metal details add further character and highlight the exceptional attention to detail.
