Alessandro Martorana, a haute couture tailor, selected the fabrics and finishes for the collection.
The collaboration between tailor Alessandro Martorana and furniture maker Filippo Dolfi grew from their client relationship and their similar tastes. Filippo Dolfi admired Alessandro Martorana’s choice of clothing fabrics and proposed dressing the FD by Dolfi collection in the Turin couturier’s favourite textiles.
The collaboration produced the AM Casa capsule collection, a distinctive haute couture project for home design. The AM Casa collection seeks individuality in an increasingly impersonal world.
