The Molteni Group D.859.1 table was designed primarily as a meeting table for ten people. The table measures more than 3.60 metres in length and combines substantial proportions with a simple, refined design. The table legs feature slim contemporary elements that create a single-span trapezoidal bridge. The large tapered top reinforces the table’s aerodynamic concept.
The original D.859.1 table was made from solid ash with bronze tips. The table is also available in a darker finish, including black-stained ash. The D.859.1 table retains the harmony and proportions of the original design in two smaller versions.
