Mario Tagliabue’s son continued the family tradition. Augusto Tagliabue took over the company in 1965, restored the collection and made the collection the company’s central direction under the name Liberty.
Augusto Tagliabue used historic examples, fully renovated the designs and produced copies. Augusto Tagliabue restored traditional techniques and selected craftspeople who understood how the furniture was made.
Medea’s craftspeople have deep knowledge of furniture production, inlay, lacquering, polishing and upholstery. The family has passed these techniques from father to son.
