Capetown by Marconato & Zappa is a modular sofa designed to adapt to different spaces and requirements. The modular system accepts curved elements, chaise longues, quilted benches and poufs.
The sofa combines an elegant, simple design with a backrest aligned with the armrest. The aligned backrest requires a large back cushion positioned freely for each seat. Comfort is a defining feature of CTS artisan sofas. Double-density polyurethane foam provides the cushioning, while interwoven elastic webbing provides flexibility.
A seat cushion filled with sterilised goose down is available for additional softness. A solid spruce and plywood supporting structure contributes to the sofa's durability. A removable cover is available with fabric upholstery. The sofa can be updated after 5 to 10 years of use by replacing the covers with new fabric suited to current trends, at a modest cost. Support legs are made from aluminium and finished in several colours.
The sofa can be customised in size to meet individual customer requirements.
