The Ford sofa features a seat made with a wood base, non-deformable elastic webbing and a mattress containing polyurethane foam in different densities.
The rigid base provides stability and helps prevent compression. The centre of the seat contains a Breeze insert made from open-cell polyurethane foam with high resistance to wear and deformation. The Breeze insert disperses moisture and provides a comfortable seating experience. A Memory Foam layer covered with a resin-impregnated double-fabric cover helps the seat return to its original shape.
The back cushions contain sterilised goose down. The rest of the frame is made from wood and covered with high-density polyurethane foam.
The fully fabric-upholstered version does not include metal inserts. The catalogue allows the outer frame to combine leather upholstery with a metal insert and the inner frame to use fabric upholstery.
