The freestanding Cattelan Italia Address bookcase answers a clear design question: how can a bookcase move beyond a flat structure and work in three spatial dimensions? The 360-degree open vertical configuration provides the answer. Designers can position each shelf at the required height, rotate each shelf and secure each shelf in the preferred position, adding depth to the design. The ceiling-mounted bookcase with round shelves supports creative layouts on a wall or in the centre of a room. Symmetrical arrangements and precise spiral compositions create defined geometry. Several modules placed with apparent randomness create the dynamic character of an informal composition. Several modular bookcases can also form room dividers, while the gentle curves of the shelves guide movement through the space. A single element positioned at a set distance from a wall becomes a decorative bookcase with a striking sculptural effect. Each shelf consists of a round tray in a premium wood species, suspended at a different height. Each tray has inward-rounded lower edges and an elegant curve that tapers outward.

The modular bookcase supports wall or ceiling mounting and offers freely arranged shelves. The steel frame comes in embossed titanio finish (GFM11) with Oxygrey details or bronzo finish (GFM18) with Oxybrass details. Shelves come in Canaletto walnut (NC) with an embossed titanio back panel (GF11) or burned oak (RB) with an embossed bronzo back panel (GF18). Maximum load per shelf: 4 kg.
