Cattelan Italia Aladdin light compositions appear to float in the air, matching the lightness of glass shades finished with exceptional glassmaking skill. The modern lights create multiple configurations by combining shades with two types of artisanal glass treatment. Each shade can hang from the ceiling or attach to a round base holding 2 to 6 pendant elements. Pendant elements can be positioned at different heights and distances according to preference. The Aladdin modern glass chandelier uses two decorative techniques. The first technique creates a graduated etched effect that gradually fades towards the top. The lower section has a light, milky-matte tone, while the upper section remains transparent and fades away. The second finish uses the Balloton technique, an old glassmaking method associated with Murano glassmakers. The technique creates a distinctive three-dimensional pattern of intersecting diamonds. A multi-level arrangement places several glass lights beside one another and adds a refined, balanced feature to a living room. The composition pairs well with large upholstered furniture.
