Created from an idea by Oriano Favaretto, Biarritz is a modern ceiling light inspired by compositions of forms and materials from the metaphysical avant-garde movement. Like satellites, shades in different sizes and colours gather around a steel circle illuminated from within by LED lamps. Other elements, including an opaque glass sphere and a fluted rod, come alive with light. The seemingly random composition results from a careful study of masses and volumes, creating an ideal balance for a modern lamp that gives a room refined, valuable character.
Technical Information
Cattelan Italia Biarritz is a ceiling light with a painted steel frame in iron grey satinato. The collection combines transparent borosilicate glass, bronze and sandblasted shades with a borosilicate glass rod. An embossed painted steel ceiling mount uses the titanio finish (GFM11).
