Cattelan Italia Dafne is a dining chair with a perforated backrest, designed by CS LAB. The tapered-cone base and shell feature precisely crafted details. Fabric or leather upholstery wraps around the base like a cloak, revealing the polished metal frame at the front. The seat and backrest form two complementary shell halves with polygonal profiles, bevelled edges and soft curves. An elliptical opening in the backrest reveals the designer’s distinctive interpretation of a pearl inside the shell. Dafne presents a small throne concept for a contemporary dining room, combining refined design, individual character and comfort.
Technical information
Cattelan Italia Dafne has a steel structure finished in embossed titanium (GFM11) or bronze (GFM18). Synthetic leather or leather upholstery is available in colours shown in the samples. The upholstery is non-removable.
