Cattelan Italia Greta Bar Stool

Greta creates a complete family of chairs for coordinated living spaces, including coordinated chairs, stools and armchairs. Versions differ in height and base material. Greta features a padded seat with armrests and metal legs, offering a lighter, more comfortable design than Greta Wood with legs in refined, expressive wood. A stool version with armrests is also available for a kitchen snack bar. The family includes models for living rooms and outdoor spaces. Greta Lounge features a low, wide and comfortable seat for an office or living room. Greta Outdoor interprets contemporary outdoor furniture as an extension of the living space. The unique construction combines a seat with a surrounding cushion that connects the backrest to the armrests. The hollow structure gives the wide cushion a high level of comfort. Four stitched details create a soft, refined capitonné effect. The suspended backrest of this designer chair also provides softness and comfort. A shaped, curved cylinder supports the back and continues into padded armrests. The seat and base create an engaging contrast between soft and rigid materials, solid and open volumes, and welcoming or defined forms. Three slender legs consist of oval-section metal tubes with textured paint in several elegant tones, allowing coordination with many fabric and leather samples. Refined wood in the most material-focused version combines with upholstery in carefully selected colours and textures. The central rear leg of this contemporary dining chair combines two adjacent elements into one point of support. The central vertical detail also expresses the contrast between solid and open spaces that defines the backrest and seat. The result is a coherent design with a sense of lightness and balance.

Technical Information

The Cattelan Italia Greta bar stool has a base made from embossed painted steel in titanio (GFM11), bronzo (GFM18), graphite (GFM69), pearl (GFM70) or nero (GFM73). The seat and backrest are upholstered in fabric, micro nubuck, synthetic leather or leather according to the sample. The upholstery is non-removable.
