The Miranda collection by Cattelan Italia features chairs and armchairs with perforated backs, distinctive forms and carefully crafted details. The seat and backrest resemble two complementary shell halves, with polygonal shapes, angled edges and soft curves. The shell design reveals an inner pearl through a unique elliptical opening in the backrest, created by the designer. Soft folds on the perforated backrest recall coastal waves and reinforce the sense of comfort. The seat features a pronounced, welcoming curve with raised stitching on leather or fabric. The refined detail demonstrates the quality of the hand finishing. The Miranda dining armchair forms a family of chairs with a choice of bases. The family includes five versions with different base shapes and materials. Miranda Wood has legs made from high-quality wood, while Miranda ML has slimmer, practical steel legs. Miranda Cantilever has the cantilever base indicated by its name, formed by a carefully crafted arch that follows the proportions of the shell. Miranda Turn is a swivel model, while Miranda Wheels has a four-star base with casters and suits commercial spaces or dining areas designed for conversation. Technical Information

The Miranda Lounge armchair is available as a swivel chair with a four-star aluminium base or as a fixed chair with a steel frame. The frame is finished in embossed titanium (GFM11), bronze (GFM18), graphite (GFM69), pearl (GFM70) or black (GFM73). Upholstery is available in fabric, micro nubuck, eco-leather or leather according to the sample. The upholstery is non-removable.
