Miranda is a Cattelan Italia chair collection with a perforated backrest, an original design and a distinctive character. The chair structure contains carefully crafted details made with precision. The seat and backrest resemble two complementary shell halves, with polygonal shapes, bevelled edges and soft curves. The shell-inspired design reveals a pearl-like centre through a distinctive elliptical opening in the backrest. The backrest opening is framed by soft folds that recall coastal waves and reinforce the sense of comfort. The seat features a pronounced, welcoming curve with raised stitching across the leather or fabric upholstery. The tailored detail demonstrates the quality of the hand-finishing. The Miranda table chair design forms a family of chairs with a choice of individual bases. Miranda is available in five versions with different base shapes and materials. Miranda Wood has legs made from high-quality wood, while Miranda ML has slimmer steel legs. Miranda Cantilever has a cantilever base formed by a carefully crafted arch that follows the proportions of the chair structure. Miranda Turn is a swivel model, while Miranda Wheels has a four-star base with casters that suits commercial spaces and dining rooms designed for conversation. Miranda Sgabello kitchen stools can complete an interior with a coordinated look. The metal structure for the customisable chairs is available in different sizes, shapes and shades, with upholstery in selected leather and fabric options. The chair has a steel structure finished in embossed titanium (GFM11), bronze (GFM18), graphite (GFM69), pearl (GFM70) or black (GFM73). The non-removable upholstery is available in fabric, micro nubuck, synthetic leather or leather, with colours selected from the samples.
