Cattelan Italia Papel 3.5 Glass Table

The Papel collection presents sculptural dining tables that express prestige and suit contemporary dining interiors. Designer Margherita Fanti describes the Papel 3.5 Glass table as “a search for flowing, curved and continuous forms. The table draws inspiration from nature and, specifically, from one of its many examples of perfection, waves”. The carefully designed base gives the furniture a different appearance from each viewing position. Filled cylinders and open spaces change places at different angles, creating an intricate play of light and shadow across the designer table. Papel appears slender and imposing at the same time, especially with a base from the Brushed range, finished by experienced craftspeople by hand. The curved metal base forms a monolith, adding value to the contemporary dining table. The glass version displays the full beauty of the winding silhouette. The collection also includes two models with ceramic tops, Keramik Paper and Keramik Premium Paper. Keramik Premium Paper features a thick edge finished by hand using the Brushed technique. The contemporary wooden Papel Wood table completes the collection with tops in different shapes, made from natural wood. Two smaller table models, Papel and Papelito, complete the range.

Technical information

Papel 3.5 Glass features a steel base finished in corrugated titanium (GFM11), bronze (GFM18), Oxybrass or Oxygrey. The 15 mm top is available in transparent glass, extra-clear glass or extra-clear bevelled glass.
