Cattelan Italia Papel Glass Table

The Papel collection presents sculptural tables that express prestige in contemporary dining interiors. Designer Margherita Fanti describes the Papel table as a search for flowing, curved and continuous forms inspired by nature, particularly waves. The carefully designed base changes visually with the viewer's position, creating an intricate play of filled and empty cylinders, light and shadow. The Papel table appears delicate and imposing at the same time, especially with a hand-protected Brushed finish applied by experienced artisans. The curved metal base forms a monolithic structure that adds value to this contemporary dining table. The glass version reveals the full beauty of the winding silhouette. The collection also includes two ceramic-top models, Keramik Paper and Keramik Premium Paper. The Keramik Premium Paper model features a thick edge brushed by hand using the Brushed technique. The Papel Marble version offers a natural stone top with striking graphic detail. The Papel Wood table completes the collection with natural wood tops in different shapes. The smaller Papelito tables and the longer Papel 3.5 Glass model complete the range.

Technical Information

Cattelan Italia Papel Glass has a steel base with a corrugated finish in titanium (GFM11), bronze (GFM18), Oxybrass or Oxygrey. The table has a 15 mm top in clear glass, extra-clear glass, extra-clear bevelled glass, glass with reverse-bevelled edges or extra-clear textured glass (MIST).
