Cattelan Italia Papel Keramik Premium Table

The Papel collection comprises sculptural tables that express prestige and suit contemporary dining interiors. Designer Margherita Fanti describes the Papel table as “a search for flowing, curved and continuous forms. Nature inspires the design, particularly one of its many examples of perfection, waves.” The carefully designed base changes appearance according to the viewer’s position. Filled and empty cylinders alternate when viewed from different angles, creating a complex play of light and shadow. Papel appears slender and imposing at the same time, especially with a Brushed finish protected by experienced artisans who apply the finish by hand. The curved metal base is monolithic, adding value to this contemporary dining table. The glass version reveals the full beauty of the sinuous silhouette. The collection also includes two models with ceramic tops, Keramik Paper and Keramik Premium Paper. Keramik Premium Paper features a thick edge brushed by hand using the Brushed technique. Papel Marble offers a more prestigious version with a natural stone top and striking graphic patterning. Papel Wood completes the collection with natural wood tops in different shapes. Smaller Papelito tables and the longer Papel 3.5 Glass model complete the range.

Technical Information

The table has a steel base finished in corrugated titanium (GFM11), bronze (GFM18), Oxybrass or Oxygrey. The ceramic top is available in Alabastro (KM02), Golden Calacatta opaco (KM05), Golden Calacatta lucido (KM06), Portoro opaco (KM07), Portoro lucido (KM08), Sahara Noir lucido (KM09), Makalu (KM11), Breccia (KM12), Borghini Calacatta opaco (KM18), Borghini Calacatta lucido (KM19), Colosseo (KM21), Andromeda (KM22), Invisible opaco (KM24), Taj Mahal (KM26), Giava (KM27), Darwin (KM28) or Luxor (KS23). The lower rounded profile is finished in brushed bronze or brushed grey. The 300 × 128 top is 6 cm thick. The 240 × 120 top is 5 cm thick.
