Cattelan Italia Papel Keramik Table

The Papel collection includes striking sculptural tables that express prestige and suit modern dining interiors. Designer Margherita Fanti describes the Papel table as “a search for flowing, curved and continuous forms. Nature inspired the design, particularly one of its many examples of perfection, waves.” The carefully designed base gives the table a different appearance according to the viewer’s position. Filled and empty cylinders change places at different viewing angles, creating an intricate play of light and shadow. Papel appears delicate and imposing at the same time, especially with a Brushed finish on the base, applied and protected by experienced craftspeople. The curved metal base is monolithic, adding value to the contemporary dining table. The glass version presents the full beauty of the winding silhouette. The collection also includes two models with ceramic tabletops: Keramik Paper and Keramik Premium Paper. Keramik Premium Paper features a thick edge brushed by hand using the Brushed technique. Papel Marble offers an even more prestigious version with a natural stone tabletop and striking graphic veining. Papel Wood completes the collection with contemporary wooden tables and tabletops in various shapes, made from natural wood. Smaller Papelito tables and the longer Papel 3.5 Glass model complete the range, as the name suggests.
