Cattelan Italia Papel Marble Dining Table

The Papel collection features sculptural tables that express prestige and suit contemporary dining interiors. Designer Margherita Fanti describes the Papel table as “a search for flowing, curved and continuous forms. The table draws inspiration from nature, particularly from waves, one of its many examples of perfection.” The carefully designed base gives the table a different appearance according to the viewer’s position. Filled and empty cylinders change places at different angles, creating an intricate play of light and shadow. Papel appears both slender and imposing, especially with a Brushed finish on the base. Experienced craftspeople apply the Brushed finish by hand. The curved metal base has a monolithic construction that adds value to the contemporary dining table. The glass version reveals the full beauty of the winding silhouette. The collection also includes two models with ceramic tops: Keramik Paper and Keramik Premium Paper. Keramik Premium Paper has a thick edge brushed by hand using the Brushed technique. Papel Marble offers an even more prestigious version with a natural stone top and striking veining. Papel Wood completes the collection with natural wood tops in different shapes. Smaller Papelito tables and the longer Papel 3.5 Glass model complete the Papel range, as the name suggests.

Technical Information

The table has a steel base with an embossed finish in titanio (GFM11), bronzo (GFM18), Oxybrass or Oxygrey. The tabletop is available in polished Lepanto marble, matt Avocatus marble or matt Onda Grigia marble.
