The Cattelan Italia Papelito collection features sculptural dining tables that express prestige and suit contemporary dining interiors. Designer Margherita Fanti describes Papelito Wood as “a search for flowing, curved and continuous forms. Nature inspires the design, particularly one of its many examples of perfection, waves.” The carefully designed base changes the table’s appearance according to the viewer’s position. Filled and empty cylinders exchange places from different angles, creating a detailed play of light and shadow. The curved metal base forms a monolithic structure that adds value to this contemporary dining table. The glass version displays the full beauty of the winding silhouette. The collection also includes Papelito Keramik with a ceramic tabletop. Two larger models complete the range: Papel and Papel 3.5 Glass.
Technical information
Papelito Wood features a painted steel base with a titanium (GFM11), bronze (GFM18), Oxybrass or Oxygrey embossed finish. Version “U” has a rounded-edge tabletop in Canaletto walnut (NC) or burned oak (RB). Version “Y” has a bevelled-edge tabletop in Canaletto walnut (NC) with burned oak details, or burned oak (RB) with Canaletto walnut details.
