The Richard model is a double bed with under-bed storage, concealed legs and a broad frame positioned close to the floor. Outward-curving edges widen the support at the base. The detail echoes the headboard curve and makes the mattress appear to rest on a raised platform, like a sculpture. Richard presents a harmonious design with carefully developed forms that create continuity between the headboard and bed frame. A surrounding detail immediately creates a soft, comfortable impression: the upholstered headboard wraps around the sides, forms two padded rolls and extends slightly beyond the bed frame. Richard expresses a refined design through soft volumes, fine leather and soft fabrics with mélange yarn, selected for monumental-style contemporary double beds.
Technical information
The Richard bed features upholstery in fabric, micro nubuck, eco-leather or leather, according to the available samples. The bed includes a slatted base. A lift-up slatted base with a storage compartment is available as an option.
