The Senator collection began with Senator CrystalArt, a 4-metre designer table with a decorated glass top. Paolo Cattelan later created Senator Keramik in marble-effect ceramic and round wooden versions, including Senator Round and Senator Ker-Wood Round. The Senator Ker-Wood Round model combines a central ceramic insert with selected wood species, ceramic finishes in rich colours and metal details that underline the contemporary design. Senator Wood and Senator Keramik Magnum feature wooden or ceramic tops with balanced joints and contrasting wood seams, assembled as an irregular puzzle to create the length of these large tables. Each section of the Senator Keramik Magnum ceramic top is positioned beside the next section with careful attention to the pattern, which strengthens the decorative effect. The 6-metre ceramic table uses repeated and rotated base modules to support the top and create a striking interplay of light and shadow. The ceramic, wooden and CrystalArt large-format tables reveal the work and dedication behind their distinctive, highly individual forms. Large-diameter round tables and imposing tables with ceramic or wooden puzzle tops suit residential and commercial interiors. Cattelan Italia Senator Wood technical information covers the metal base, top materials, edge details and delivery format for the 400 cm version, with options in titanium-painted GFM11 corrugated steel or bronze-painted GFM18 steel. The top has bevelled edges and comes in Canaletto walnut (NC) with burnt oak details or burnt oak (RB) with Canaletto walnut details. The 400 cm version is delivered disassembled in 3 sections. Version “Y” has a bevelled Canaletto walnut (NC) top with burnt oak details or a burnt oak (RB) top with Canaletto walnut details.
