Bartoli Design

Bartoli Design is an Italian design studio known for an elegant, minimalist approach and close attention to detail. Carlo Bartoli founded the studio, which is now also led by his children, Anna and Paolo Bartoli, continuing the family tradition.

Carlo Bartoli began his career as an architect and designer in the 1960s. Carlo Bartoli soon became known for clean forms, a functional approach and a commitment to Italian modernism. Carlo Bartoli's projects combined aesthetics, ergonomics and industrial thinking.

Carlo Bartoli created iconic furniture pieces, many of which became design icons. Carlo Bartoli worked with brands including Kartell, Arflex, Rossi di Albizzate and Varenna. Carlo Bartoli's work began appearing in museums, including MoMA in New York and the Design Museum in London. Anna and Paolo joined the studio, making Bartoli Design a family practice. The change opened a new chapter by combining Carlo Bartoli's experience with the younger generation's innovations. Bartoli Design continued working with leading Italian and international brands, including Bonaldo, Kristalia, Laurameroni and others.

Today, Bartoli Design works across:
- industrial furniture design, including tables, armchairs and sofas,
- architectural interiors,
- exhibition stands,
- and conceptual projects.

Bartoli Design's philosophy centres on simplicity, balanced forms and emotional expression. The studio believes that good design should be beautiful, honest, restrained and durable. The Octa table for Bonaldo is one of Bartoli Design's best-known projects.
