Domenico De Palo

Italian designer Domenico De Palo was born in 1976. Domenico De Palo began designing interiors at the age of 19 while also taking part in the restoration of historic buildings. His career gradually shifted towards industrial design, leading to collaborations with brands including Antidiva, Viabizzuno, Antonio Lupi, Move, Dimensione Disegno and Officina delle Idee.
Domenico De Palo's work has been exhibited repeatedly and recognised with awards. The La Dodo light for Viabizzuno won second place at the LIGHT+BUILDING exhibition and was presented at The New Italian Design triennial in Milan and Madrid in 2007. Collaboration with Antonio Lupi began in 2008 and produced Il Canto del Fuoco, an emotional interpretation of fire in the bathroom space.
Domenico De Palo presented La Casa di Dodo in 2009, exploring human interaction with the primary elements of water, earth and fire. New works, La Stretta and La Taglio for Viabizzuno, were shown at Fuori Salone in Milan in 2010.
