Gino Carollo

Gino Carollo is an Italian industrial designer who was born in 1965 in Vicenza. Gino Carollo has worked actively in industrial design since 1990, collaborating with leading Italian and international furniture companies. Gino Carollo founded Studio 28 in 1999, a design practice focused on product development, corporate identity, and exhibition and retail space design.

Gino Carollo has contributed to the creation of Italian pavilions at international furniture exhibitions in Cologne and Vienna, and has designed products for brands including Bonaldo, Calligaris, Cattelan Italia, Draenert, Leolux, Porada, Riva 1920, Tonelli Glass Furniture and others.

Gino Carollo has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, Interior Innovation Award and German Design Award. Gino Carollo's work has been exhibited at museums including MoMA in New York.

Gino Carollo opened the Gino Carollo and Partners design studio in Shanghai in 2014, expanding the practice's international presence.
