Marco Zito

Marco Zito is an Italian architect and designer, born in Treviso in 1966. Marco Zito graduated from IUAV University in Venice in 1994 after studying under Vittorio Gregotti. Since 1996, Marco Zito has taught industrial design at IUAV and served as a guest lecturer at educational centres in Uruguay, Rwanda and Egypt.​

Marco Zito's studio in Venice works across industrial design, architecture and interior design. Marco Zito began his design career on Murano, working with blown glass at the Salviati factory. Marco Zito has collaborated with brands including Foscarini, Agape, Salviati, Olivetti, Lavazza, Plust and Bonaldo.

Marco Zito's work has received international awards, including an award at the Batimat exhibition in Paris and selection for the ADI Design Index for projects created for Viabizzuno, Foscarini and Plust. ​

Marco Zito draws inspiration from Venice, a source reflected in designs that combine simple forms with depth of meaning. Marco Zito creates lighting, furniture and architectural objects, combining craftsmanship with innovation.​

Marco Zito's notable works include the Acquerelli lighting collection for Bonaldo, inspired by the aesthetics of watercolour, and the Tua armchair for Foscarini, reflecting Venice's interplay of light and water.​
