Patrick Norguet

Patrick Norguet, born in 1969 in Tours, France, graduated from the École Supérieure de Design Industriel (ESDI) and began his career designing window displays for Yves Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton. Patrick Norguet opened his own studio in Paris in 2000.
The Rainbow chair for Cappellini is Patrick Norguet's signature work and forms part of the MoMA collection. Patrick Norguet has collaborated with Cassina, Tacchini, Kristalia, Alias, Artifort, Bernhardt Design, Dior, Renault and Van Cleef & Arpels.
Patrick Norguet's design style combines clean lines with technological innovation. Patrick Norguet has received awards including Designer of the Year (2005) and Red Dot. Patrick Norguet's work remains significant in contemporary design.
