Pietro Russo
Pietro Russo is an Italian designer who was born in Ostuni in 1967. Pietro Russo studied painting, ceramics, set design, architecture and design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. Pietro Russo began combining artistic thinking with architectural precision during his student years.
Pietro Russo lived in Berlin from 1997 to 2002, where he worked as a film set decorator and exhibited in galleries. Pietro Russo later moved to Milan and collaborated with Lissoni Associati on projects for Alessi, Kartell, Cappellini, Tecno, Benetton and other companies.
Pietro Russo opened his own studio in 2010. Pietro Russo develops a style that brings together art, geometry, light, music and science fiction. Pietro Russo treats space as a stage and design as a way to communicate emotion.
Pietro Russo has collaborated with Baxter, Gallotti & Radice, Editions Milano, Ichendorf, Casamilano and Londonart.
