Education and Career

Ryosuke Fukusada graduated from the Kanazawa College of Art in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in industrial design. Ryosuke Fukusada then worked at the Japanese corporation Sharp Corporation, developing consumer electronics until 2007. Ryosuke Fukusada moved to Italy in 2007 and earned a master's degree in interior and residential space design from Domus Academy. From 2008 to 2012, Ryosuke Fukusada worked at Studio Urquiola in Milan, assisting Patricia Urquiola on furniture, lighting and kitchenware projects for established Italian manufacturers.

Ryosuke Fukusada returned to Japan in 2012 and founded FUKUSADA STUDIO in Kyoto, where the designer continues to create furniture, lighting and interior objects for international clients.Ryosuke Fukusada's work has received recognition and several international design awards.
