Hakuna Matata Armchair
Design by Roberto Lazzeroni
Hakuna Matata is an armchair designed by Roberto Lazzaroni, with a solid ash frame featuring sandblasted treatment and a matte black stain.
Wood is a living material, so slight changes in colour and dimensions may occur over time. Solid wood can undergo natural deformation during its maturation, depending on humidity and weather conditions. Moving objects on the surface regularly during the first months is recommended to prevent stains, because the natural finish is sensitive to light and subject to oxidation.
The name Hakuna Matata means “no worries” in Swahili. Soft, curved forms offer a fresh approach to relaxation in interior and outdoor settings.
A curved backrest and broad, slightly concave seat rest on sturdy legs, giving the armchair a confident yet welcoming appearance. The sculptural form makes the armchair an accent piece in a garden, bedroom or study.
Hakuna Matata is available in two versions: caramel iroko with an oiled finish for outdoor use, and black ash for interiors. The armchair is designed to change with its surroundings, reflecting Baxter’s philosophy of authenticity and the natural beauty of materials.
