Antonovych Design Showroom Opens in Astana

On 13 November, Antonovych Design opened a new interior centre in Astana, creating a space already regarded as one of the most notable developments in the capital’s design market. A formal opening became an evening with its own character: engaging, visually considered and confidently metropolitan.

Guests entered a space composed as a complete stage set, where light, architectural lines, textures and music worked to one rhythm. Antonovych Design set out to show that design is more than selecting individual elements, because design provides a distinct language for homes, offices and cities.

The atmosphere felt deliberately alive rather than decorative. Light installations created deep shadows, interior scenes changed almost like theatrical acts, and a sense of being inside a complete story emerged without a single unnecessary gesture. The showroom looked as though people already lived there, and that quality became its defining move.

Porsche integration deserved special attention, because the car became part of the visual narrative rather than serving as a photographic backdrop. Illuminated car silhouettes reflected across the showroom’s glass surfaces, adding movement and status to the space. Porsche also provided transfers for VIP guests, confirming that the evening was conceived as a high-level event rather than a simple presentation.

Nikolay Anatolievich Vasilenko headlined the opening, and his appearance became one of the evening’s turning points.

Vasilenko brought the human energy often missing from official events. Vasilenko captured the room’s attention with a single phrase, changing the tone of the evening from formal to more direct and personal. Guests later described his performance as the emotional centre of the event.

The opening format felt less like a presentation and more like a modern social evening, with relaxed communication, warm networking, and designers, developers, entrepreneurs and architects meeting to discuss subjects that mattered to them.

The central feature was an atmosphere where people did more than view the exhibition, because guests exchanged ideas, opinions and plans.

Antonovych Design’s opening became much more than the launch of a new space. Antonovych Design made a claim to influence the capital’s design scene. The project fits confidently into the context of rapidly growing Astana, where demand for new ideas in architecture and interiors continues to increase.

Many guests already describe the evening as one of the season’s most successful events. The response reflects the careful precision with which Antonovych Design established a direction for future discussions about the modern urban interior, rather than simple noise or striking decoration.

The coming months will show how strongly the new space affects the market. One point is already clear: Antonovych Design came to Astana to set a new direction, not merely to complete a formal launch.
