Flos 2026: Three New Approaches to Lighting

In 2026, Flos introduced three notable projects: Nocturne by Konstantin Grcic, Maap by Erwan Bouroullec and a new version of Bellhop Unplugged. Each project offers a distinct way to integrate lighting into an interior, from a custom composition to portable local illumination.

Nocturne: Light Inside Glass

Nocturne by Konstantin Grcic combines blown borosilicate glass with extruded aluminium. The light module sits inside the glass element, creating an effect of illumination from within.

The system follows a modular principle: conical and hemispherical elements can be combined on an aluminium profile. Wall-mounted, floor-standing and pendant configurations are available.

Nocturne suits interiors that require a custom lighting composition, including areas above a dining table, living rooms and spaces with double-height ceilings.

Maap: A Large-Scale Composition

Maap by Erwan Bouroullec transfers light from a standalone object to the wall surface. The light module contains four LED sources, while the diffuser is formed by hand and receives an individual texture.

Maap is available in three sizes. The largest version can occupy more than three metres.

Maap suits spaces where lighting forms part of the architectural composition, including spacious living rooms, halls, stairwell areas and public interiors.

Bellhop Unplugged: Portable Lighting

In 2026, Flos updated Bellhop Unplugged, created by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby.

The rechargeable construction allows the lamp to operate without a permanent mains connection on a dining table, coffee table, console, bedside table or open terrace.

Bellhop works with local light and everyday use, unlike the other two models. The lamp can move as the function of a space changes, supporting dinner, evening relaxation, living-room use and terrace use.

Flos 2026: Lighting for Interior Requirements

The three new products offer different ways to work with space. Nocturne helps create a custom composition, Maap becomes a distinctive wall element, and Bellhop Unplugged adds flexibility to local lighting. The three products address interior requirements ranging from a large-scale lighting accent to a small portable light source for use throughout the day.

Flos is presented at Antonovych Home alongside leading Italian and international lighting and furniture-design brands.

The 1,000 m² showroom presents lighting in an interior setting, alongside furniture, decor and other elements of a premium space.
