Living Divani: Elegance and Innovation at Milan Design Week

Living Divani presented new designs at the Salone del Mobile.Milano stand, which displayed iconic brand pieces in a series of contemporary settings united by the subtle, quiet elegance that has always defined the brand’s style.

The Living Divani stand presented an industrial, highly contemporary and avant-garde setting designed to become a home.

Piero Lissoni, designer and art director of Living Divani, guided the presentation of the brand’s versatility through soft, complementary furniture that can be carefully integrated into different interiors.

“An extremely precise architectural scale and an industrial use of materials. This year, the space looks less like a simple stand and more like a building with a translucent metal façade.

The rhythm revealed by the light seems enclosed in a grid. The giant lamp creates a play of light and shadow that marks the passage of time,” says Piero Lissoni, art director.

Two forces and two energies condense into an appealing, captivating illusion of movement through the combination of black and white. Black and white never meet, yet perfect coexistence invites the eye to pause over the resulting design.

Optical effects and signs gradually form a genuine language. The relationship turns objects belonging to the space into icons, transforming the Living Divani gallery during Milan Design Week into a book of interpretations.

Semiotics appears through signs, colour and graphic codes, transferring ideas onto objects and shaping the resulting visions that emerge from forms and from the dichotomy of black and white in the space.
