The name Octa comes from the Greek word “okto”, meaning “eight”. Eight metal supports form the model’s intricate base. The intersecting lines appear chaotic and spontaneous, inspired by the game of pick-up sticks, where lightness and disorder become part of the aesthetic. The base expresses movement, spontaneity and structural lightness.
The Octa tabletop can be fixed or extendable and comes in a broad selection of materials and finishes. The round version is always fixed and available in glass or ceramic. The rectangular and barrel-shaped versions feature veneer or solid wood finishes. The straight, restrained tabletop contrasts with the dynamic base, creating a balanced and visually harmonious design.
Octa is a refined, unconventional table that gives an interior a distinctive contemporary character. The Octa table transforms from a functional furnishing piece into a striking design statement.
