Padiglioni Table by Bonaldo
Design by Alain Gilles
In stock
The Padiglioni table, designed by Alain Gilles, draws inspiration from an architectural masterpiece by Mies van der Rohe, the pavilion built for the International Exhibition in Barcelona. The central design feature is a base composed of three asymmetric elements arranged as if by chance. The arrangement creates a dynamic composition, with the table taking on a different visual character as the viewing angle changes.
The substantial rectilinear tabletop pairs with a conical side bevel, creating contrast with the unconventional base and completing the look of a contemporary designer piece. Padiglioni presents a balance of opposites, combining Alain Gilles's artistic vision with Bonaldo's engineering precision in a furniture design defined by meaning, form and movement.
