2019 Armchair
The 2019 armchair has a supporting frame made from seasoned solid beech. The seat, backrest and armrests contain a spring system of hand-tied bic conical steel springs secured to jute straps. The seat is padded with rubberised horsehair. The backrest and armrests are padded with hand-shaped vegetable horsehair. The seat cushion contains goose down with a stabilising polyurethane foam insert. Pelle Frau® leather upholstery features hand-finished capitonné detailing on the front of the backrest. The rear of the armchair backrest has a leather finish. The lower seat section has a four-leg frame made from solid ash with a mocha stain. The leg system is available with metal feet in a gold or grey-steel finish, as well as with rear metal feet and front swivel castors.
The 2019 armchair is also available with a rotating oval plate made from solid ash and a Testa di Moro Saddle Extra leather tabletop. The tabletop holds an electronic device, book or other small personal items.
