Archibald Anniversary Limited Edition

The Archibald armchair, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, features a wide, deep seat, a steel frame and moulded polyurethane foam with polyester wadding for greater comfort. The armchair combines tactile leather upholstery with folding armrests shaped like a shirt collar. Digital printing on leather, a technique usually used for small luxury leather goods, brings Felipe Pantone’s work to the upholstery. Felipe Pantone’s design uses subtle red, orange, yellow, white and blue tones inspired by the temperature scale of a heat map. The upholstery uses Pelle Frau^® ColorSphere^® Impact Less, an innovative leather tanned with environmentally responsible components and without chrome to reduce environmental impact.

The base highlights the upholstery’s colour palette with four cast aluminium legs and a steel frame finished in multicolour chrome. The special iridescent paint creates a vivid purple-blue effect that changes with colour and light. A brass plaque matches the base and carries the artist’s signature alongside the inscription «ONE OF 110». Every Archibald Limited Anniversary Edition includes a special cleaning kit and an exclusive clutch made from the same multicoloured leather as the upholstery. The clutch contains a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.

The Archibald Limited Anniversary Edition is also available in a miniature size to mark this special collaboration. The miniature version uses the same Pelle Frau^® ColorSphere^® Impact Less leather as the original armchair. The miniature version receives the same precision and attention to detail as the original design.
