Archibald Bar Stool by Poltrona Frau

Archibald Stools feature a backrest frame made from moulded rigid polyurethane. The inner backrest upholstery uses soft moulded polyurethane and polyester wadding. The seat frame uses birch plywood with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The seat frame rests on an apron that connects the seat to the base. The seat is fully upholstered in Pelle Frau^® leather or fabric. The metal base includes a swivel steel rod with height adjustment through a gas spring. A stainless steel lever under the right side of the seat operates the gas spring. The rectangular-section stainless steel footrest tapers from the inside outwards. The floor support plate is also made from steel. All visible steel surfaces have a mirror-polished finish, except the upper footrest surface, which has a unidirectional brushed finish.
