Archibald Denim Edition

The appeal of denim inspired a new upholstery for Archibald, the iconic Poltrona Frau armchair designed by Jean-Marie Massaud. The result is Archibald Denim Edition, a stylish urban combination that adds a relaxed look and a fresh detail to contemporary luxury interiors.

The soft, refined lines of Archibald are dressed in a new cover: organic cotton jacquard fabric with the characteristic twill structure of denim. A special washing process makes the fabric more durable and suitable for upholstered furniture. The fabric is called Everdenim and features a distinctive thick warp that creates a deep, three-dimensional appearance and a worn feel inspired by a stone-washed effect. The denim texture combines with a rich, elegant dark blue colour. The natural cotton is GOTS-certified (Global Organic Textile Standard) and suitable for dry cleaning.

The denim effect is complemented by yellow double stitching and a base with a new antique bronze finish, inspired by the rivets and other metal details found in denim garments. The blue denim armchair features a Camel Saddle Leather label with a hot-stamped logo and the phrase «Archibald Denim Edition. Unique, like you.» embroidered on the back.
