The Backdrop sideboard by Alain Gilles features vertical lines across the door fronts, repeated evenly along the full length to create a calm, balanced appearance. The design has a clear structure inspired by modernist architecture. Vertical slots decorate the surface and serve a practical function by allowing the doors to open. A light, almost invisible outer frame subtly emphasises the rhythm of the fronts and gives the sideboard a restrained elegance. The Backdrop model is available in a noce Canaletto finish.
