Cattelan Italia Harbour Bookshelf

Harbour is a modular bookshelf made using distinctive wood-processing techniques. The customisable furniture system combines wooden shelves with bevelled corners and uprights in refined metal finishes. Each level features wooden trays suspended at different heights. The lower edges of the trays curve inward. The curved profile narrows towards the corners. Every detail of the designer bookshelf has a functional purpose. Functional components include fastening rings and upright ends with a brass finish, transforming each component into a distinctive decorative feature. Ceiling or wall mounting allows the Harbour bookshelf to stand against a wall or in the centre of a large room as a divider. The wall-mounted version accommodates a television, creating a distinctive hybrid bookshelf and TV cabinet. The short sides of the practical wooden compartments feature curved bronze-finished glass decoration that echoes the shape of the lower level. Visible stored objects give the customisable bookshelf an atmosphere of mystery and charm.

Technical Information

The modular bookshelf supports wall or ceiling mounting. The uprights and shelves are made from embossed titanium-painted steel (GFM11), with Oxygrey or bronze details (GFM18) and Oxybrass details. The shelves and drawers are made from Canaletto walnut (NC) with embossed titanium finish (GF11), or burnt oak (RB) with embossed bronze finish (GF18) and bronze glass.
