Emanuele Cenere designed the Valentino table for the first time in 1991. The product line later expanded with the Valentinox table and two versions of the matching console. The sculptural base balances volumes that appear to support one another, while the glass surface allows light through and highlights the combination of different materials. The original modern dining table and later wooden Valentino console feature a V-shaped solid wood form resting on a marble cylinder. The Valentinox console and matching glass table feature a polished stainless steel central form.
Technical information
Valentinox technical details include a glossy stainless steel base, a Travertino (TN), Carrara white (BC) or Marquinia black (NM) marble cylinder, and 15 mm transparent glass shelves. The 240 × 115 cm transparent glass tabletop has rounded edges and a 12 mm thickness. Minor irregularities on the base's reflective surface result from hand finishing.
