Biography and education

Boris Klimek was born in 1984 in Martin, Slovakia. Boris Klimek developed an early interest in art and visual culture, which led to the study of design. After graduating from an art school, Boris Klimek enrolled at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, AAAD, where Boris Klimek studied product and conceptual design.

During his studies, Boris Klimek completed internships in the United Kingdom at Sheffield Hallam University and at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. Work at the studio of the renowned Czech designers Olgoj Chorchoj had a significant influence on Boris Klimek's creative approach.

After completing his studies, Boris Klimek began working actively in industrial and interior design. Boris Klimek now lives and works in Prague, collaborating with international brands and creating projects for fields ranging from furniture to light installations.
