Biography

Rodolfo Dordoni was born in Milan in 1954. Rodolfo Dordoni graduated from the architecture faculty of Politecnico di Milano in 1979, then began a career in industrial design and architecture.

Rodolfo Dordoni became art director of Cappellini soon after graduating. Dordoni later collaborated with leading Italian companies, including Minotti, Molteni&C, Cassina, Roda, Flou, Foscarini, Artemide, Flos and many others. Rodolfo Dordoni founded the Dordoni Architetti architecture practice in 2005. Dordoni Architetti specialises in private architecture, hospitality projects, boutiques and showrooms around the world.

Rodolfo Dordoni died in August 2023, leaving a substantial legacy that continues to influence contemporary industrial design and architecture.
