The Opale collection continues antoniolupi's research into transparent resins and material interaction, first explored in the Albume project. Cristalmood, an innovative translucent resin, reveals its full potential in the Opale collection through dialogue with noble natural materials such as marble.
The name Opale refers to the depth and geometry of precious stones, as well as the interplay of light, reflections and shifting colours. Opale washbasins combine minimalist forms with rich textures and shades, creating expressive and elegant accents in bathroom interiors.
The collection offers 10 Cristalmood colour options, with each colour interacting differently with classic marble varieties such as Bianco Carrara or Nero Marquina. The resin's transparency highlights depth and volume, while natural marble veining adds structure and individuality.
The Opale pedestal washbasin made entirely from Cristalmood resembles a faceted gemstone, with a light, luminous and layered appearance. Chromatic variations make every piece unique, while the material's transparency allows light to pass through the volume and create deep optical effects.
