Othello Table by Poltrona Frau

Othello table legs use solid ash with a mocha or wenge stain, creating the appearance of geometric sculpture. Othello table tops feature soft, curved lines in both round and rectangular versions. Othello tables are defined by a triangular-section wooden structure with crisp edges that echo the diamond detailing along the table-top edges. Poltrona Frau selects two different materials for the table tops. Smoked glass has a translucent, lightweight appearance that emphasises the architectural solidity of the legs. Fior di Pesco marble is a particularly valuable stone with rich, elegant veining and translucent, almost transparent areas revealed by natural light. Calacatta Gold marble provides an equally valuable alternative. Othello glass tables incorporate visible braces made from brushed stainless steel. Othello marble tables have polished or semi-polished finishes, while technical mesh reinforces the underside of each table top for strength. Each table top rests on a high-pressure laminate support.
