Othello Tables by Poltrona Frau

Solid ash legs in mocha or wenge create the impression of geometric sculpture. Soft, curved tops contrast with the architectural base in both round and rectangular versions. Othello tables feature a triangular-section wooden structure with crisp edges, complemented by diamond-shaped carving along the tabletop edges. Poltrona Frau selected two distinct materials for the tabletops. Light, translucent smoked glass highlights the architectural strength of the legs. Fior di Pesco, a particularly valuable marble, draws attention with rich, elegant veining that makes parts of the stone translucent, almost transparent, in natural light. Calacatta Gold marble provides an equally valuable alternative. Glass Othello tables feature visible spacers in polished stainless steel. Marble versions with polished or semi-polished finishes include technical mesh reinforcement beneath the tabletop for added strength. The tabletop rests on a high-pressure laminate (HPL) backing.
