Ouverture Sofa

The Ouverture sofa has an airy, slender steel frame. A T-shaped beam stands apart from the crossbars supporting the seat, making the upholstered section appear to float. The seamless load-bearing beam connects to aluminium profiles, creating an elegant interplay of relationships that remains clearly visible from the side. The high-tech character of the metal details, finished in matt black epoxy powder coating, contrasts with the warmth and softness of the cushions.

The Ouverture sofa cushions conceal numerous details beneath their simple appearance. Backrest buttons repeat a 1980s design element and reference traditional upholstery. A slight taper at the junction between the seat and backrest cushions allows the two elements to overlap precisely. Removable leather or fabric cushion covers contain goose down and polyester wadding with a polyurethane foam insert, helping the cushions retain their shape and providing complete comfort.
