The Torii table draws inspiration from traditional Japanese Shinto gates, which give the design its name and distinctive tectonic character. The base consists of two elegantly inclined metal elements that create a sense of stability while maintaining a light visual presence. The refined tabletop reinforces the strict geometry and comes in wood, marble or ceramic. A version with coordinated material and colour on the tabletop and decorative inserts on the legs reveals the sophisticated design aesthetic of Marconato & Zappa.
